There are 2 ways to use Xeno across multiple domains.

With a unique Xeno account, you can either:

  • Use the very same Xeno chatbox on several domains
  • Create a specific chatbox for each of your domains or sub-domains or site sections.

How do I choose between these 2 options?

If your websites have similar or the same graphic interfaces:

We recommend you use the very same Xeno chatbox for each of your websites. That way, you'll save time by not having to customize multiple Xeno chatboxes.

If your websites have different graphic interfaces:

We recommend you create a specific Xeno chatbox for each of your websites. That way, via the Xeno Customization page in your admin interface, you will be able to align the look and feel of each of your chatboxes to each of your websites using a single Xeno account.

How do I use one chatbox across multiple domains?

With Xeno, one chatbox can be used seamlessly across unlimited subdomains and domains. To make this possible, Xeno uses cookies to make sure you can keep identifying your leads (their information and conversation history) wherever they are. And, great news, the Xeno way of managing cookies works over different subdomains and different domain names.

Even if your leads go from one of your subdomains to another, if you have Xeno on all of these subdomains, all of your lead's messages will stay in the very same Xeno conversation!
